The amazingly small increase in size, given the huge increase in capacity, comes from the fuel being held low over a wider area.

The two tanks replace the stock ones, plus the fairing shrouds. The glovebox is retained, and the black skid panels on the base of each tank are easily and cheaply replaced if damaged in a crash.

The Adventure 990s petrol pump is fitted in the left half of the tank as in the original tank. The 950's petrol pump is outside the tank thus an additional part is included for 950.

The seats and fairings of the Adventure 950/990 need not be changed or modified. The original tanks can be re-fitted again at any time.

NOTE: Some owners of these tanks have experienced swelling with these tanks especially in Hot climates. This can increase the difficulty of these being re-mounted if fuel is left in the tanks.
